How do you identify your primary photographic style?
I do a mix of Photojournalistic and Traditional. I like to add in fun and funky poses also. These poses make the images more personal & meaningful to you.
Please describe any special techniques you offer:
I use a professional program to personally design your photographs. I offer Color, Black & White, Sepia Tone, & Hand coloring, along with some retouching.
Which lighting situations do you have experience with?
I have experience with all lighting. Some extra equipment may be needed for certain situations but I always have that equipment on site with me.
Do you have a media preference?
All Digital. You can do so much more with digital than Film.
How many photographers do you work with?
I will be your personal photographer.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
YES
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
I only do one wedding a day so that I can offer you the most personal service possible.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I have 2 advanced Nikon Digital cameras, a speed light, a special flash diffuser & a reflector disc for other lighting purposes.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I am very flexible with my hours. Typically, My packages come with at least 6 hours for your day. Unless we make other arrangements for a special budget.
Do you require a meal break?
I will take a meal break while your guests are eating. People do not usually like for their photo to be taken while they are eating so I take that time to eat.
Do you charge for travel?
I do not charge for travel within one hour of Columbia, SC. For places further than one hour arrangements will have to be made according to the length of the event & distance from Columbia. Please contact me with any questions about this.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I'll have your online photo proofs ready for viewing within 1 week of the event. Retouched & Speacial photos can take up to 5 days longer to get on the website.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Initally, your photos will be available for viewing online. You can purchase proof prints in a keepsake album with your custom package. You can also add a CD/DVD to your package.
How long can the couple keep the proofs?
Online viewings are only available for 60 days after the event. Proofs provided in a 4x6 album are yours to keep. The CD is your to keep also.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I retain the copyright for all the images. I do allow you to use your CD for printing purposes, however you're not allowed to sell any of the images or use them for business purposes.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
I reserve the right to use your images on my website and for promotional purposes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple?
I can provide your digital files on CD/DVD. It is included with many of my packages or can be added to any package.
Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery?
Yes, I provide online viewing through my site. Viewings will be available for 60 days after the event.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer Zookbinders Photobook albums. These are a great coffee table album that tell the story of your day. (I have several on hand to show you during your FREE consultation.) I also offer traditional albums for 4x6 prints.
How long does it take to deliver a book?
The Zookbinders Photobook will be available online for your review within 1 week of your event. Once approved, the album will arrive within two weeks of the order. Your keepsake album of 4x6s will be ready for delivery 7 - 10 days after your event.
